The Venue
The venue for the 2008 Sign Industry Awards is the fabulous Ricoh Arena, just off junction 3 of the M6 near Coventry.
The arena, as well as being home to Coventry City Football Club and a number of other sporting events, boasts a number of fabulous facilities including an exhibition hall – which will be used to stage the industry’s newest exhibition – The Sign Show – at the same time as the sign awards, some great banqueting rooms, an hotel and a casino and nightclub (giving all those with the stamina the chance to ‘party-on’ when the awards event is over).
The Sign Awards Reception will be held in the Yorkshire Bank lounge, starting at 7.30pm and from there it’s an escalator ride up to the second floor to the giant Eon Lounge for dinner and the awards ceremony.
A discotheque and the fairground attractions will be located is sectioned off areas of the lounge, giving everyone the chance to participate in the fun and frolics and then return to their tables for a bit of ‘quiet time’.
Dress code (for male guests) for the awards event is DJ or business suit and tie.
