The judges will be looking for a signage scheme designed specifically for the retail environment. Entries can be of external or internal signage scheme – or a combination of both. Signage should have the effect of creating the right image for a store, have a positive impact on footfall, help promote sales and direct customers round the outlet.
Carefully designed and co-ordinated signage schemes that are well implemented will score highly with the panel.
Previous winners have included Northern Ireland’s ID Graphics for the We Care pharmacies (2006 above), Active Sign for Hustler, Birmingham (2005) and Gee Tee Signs for Next (2004).
